The Colonial Park Fire Co. #1 2018 Annual Open House and Fire Prevention Day will be Saturday, October 6th from 1000-1500 hours.
Bring your whole family out to tour the firehouse that protects your friends and family in Lower Paxton Township.
There will be food provided by MISSION BBQ on Jonestown Road and a bounce house for everyone to enjoy!
Sparky and Engine 33.3 will be driving around talking to everyone, you can sit in the fire trucks, or try your luck at using the hose to extinguish the plywood house fire!
Fire prevention information will be available for children and adults alike. Event is rain or shine, come spend the day with us!

Although it may appear as though Fall has arrived, it’s not quite time for Leaf Pick-up in Lower Paxton Township.
Leaf Pick-up will begin the first week of November. Please do not place leaves at the curb until that time, the Township will not be around to pick them up.
Leaves placed in the street now will cause drainage backups, so please help us keep the drains clean and please refrain from places leaves along the curb until November.

Lower Paxton Township Trick or Treat Night will take place on Thursday, October 25 from 6 to 8 pm.
Please be safe and use caution as daylight hours are changing. Please take flashlights and wear reflective gear.

Lower Paxton Township invites you the the Fall Festival.
The evening will include a costume parade, food trucks, music, hayrides ($3), activities and more!

On Wednesday, August 9th, the Board of Supervisors adopted the Comprehensive Plan as presented by the Planning Commission, Township Staff and Charlie Schmehl from URDC.
The plan is a roadmap for the township for the next 10 to 15 years on matters of development, natural feature conservation, transportation, and community facilities.  The plan makes recommendations for updates to the Township's zoning ordinance as well.
