Friendship Senior Center 

The Senior Center is open to those 55 years and older. Seniors do not need to be members of the Friendship YMCA or Township residents.

The Senior Center does not oversee the Senior Van Service. The van service operates from an office in the Municipal Center.

The Lower Paxton Senior Van Service

The Lower Paxton Senior Van Service operates independently as a local nonprofit. Senior Citizens (60 and older) who live in the Township may utilize the van service for medical appointments, shopping and other necessary transportation. Service is available Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 3:30 pm. Residents must schedule van appointments between 8:00am to noon by calling 717-657-5650. 

Volunteer Opportunities
Anyone 21 years or older interested in volunteering as a Dispatcher or Driver, please call 717-657-5650.
