January - March Artists 2024

Meet Reshmi Khatun

Reshmi Khatun artist headshotHello this is Reshmi. I consider myself an artist and I do art out of my passion. It's something that comes out of me naturally. I always dreamt of being an artist, but I started doing art extensively only after getting married and upon following my husband's encouragement to follow my dream. I recently relocated from Austin, TX to the lower Paxton area with my husband for his new job. It was a big move for us but now that we have settled down in the area, I want to be part of this great community and bring to the table my passion.

You will see some of my artwork hanging on the walls of the Harrisburg Midtown Arts Center (HMAC), at the Fall Membership Exhibition at the Art Association of Harrisburg and the Nyeusi Art Gallery near downtown Harrisburg. I am also looking forward to exhibiting my work at the Yellow Bird Cafe (downtown Harrisburg) beginning March 15, 2024.

Thanks to Lower Paxton Township Arts Council and the East Shore Area Library for giving me yet another great opportunity to exhibit my work.
